Unarmed officers are the right choice for most properties. They provide a visible presence, access control, patrols and reports. Armed officers make sense where there is cash on the premises, high-value goods, late hours or a history of theft or violence. We review the site with you and recommend one or the other, or a mix. Armed officers carry only under the credentials Illinois requires.
